TRACK & FIELD

Coos Bay, Oregon

HGE has worked with Coos Bay School District since the 70’s. In the spring of 2000, the Coos Bay School District Board approved the construction of a new athletic track and field for Marshfield High School. Construction included the demolition of the existing sod football field and substandard rubberized surface track. The new synthetic turf athletic field with ground rubber infill is striped both for football and soccer. The new six-lane (eight-lane north side straight away) five-layer polyurethane track provide wider lanes and radius turns. Included in the project were two pole vault runways, two long/triple jump runways and pits, javelin runway and shot and discus areas.
